1. Handles: Attach the small handle to the front of the heater cover. Install the pivot brake. Then, screw the sheet support handle
(the knob with the label) into the right hand side of the machine. Turn it towards you to lower the plate and start the vacuum.
The blank knob screws into the left hand side and remains fixed during operation.
2. Placement: The Essix
electrical outlet. Keep area free from moisture and excessive heat. caUtIon: The unit should not be placed closer than 6"
from walls, cabinets or other equipment while in operation because of the temperature emitted from the heater. Under no
circumstances should this unit be operated while located under or in a cabinet. Do not block bottom vent.
3. electric cord: Always ensure the machine is set up for the proper voltage (110V or 220V). Plug the female end of the cord
into the electrical inlet located on the back of the unit and the male end into a properly grounded electrical outlet. The unit's
power cord should not be placed near the heater or any other hot surface. When setting up the unit, do not block the inlet
power cord so the unit can be disconnected if needed.
