Electrical connection
Electrical connection work may only be carried
out with electrical power supply switched off.
The housing can not be opened.
Safety switches are not allowed to be bypassed,
turned away, removed or made ineffective in any
other manner.
All electrical connections must be insulated from
the mains either by safety transformers in accor-
dance with IEC/EN 61558-2-6 which limit the
output voltage in the event of a fault or by
equivalent insulation measures.
All output contacts in the case of capacitive and
inductive loads must feature an adequate
suppression circuit.
If a common voltage supply is used, all of the
inductive and capacitive loads (e.g. contactors)
connected to the voltage supply must be connec-
ted to suitable suppressors.
Both safety outputs (semi-conductor outputs) LA
and LB must be individually evaluated to ensure
safety (see Fig. 3).
