Mounting
When mounting several safety switches, observe
the stipulated minimum distance to avoid mutual
interference.
Actuator and safety switch must be easily acces-
sible for monitoring and replacement.
The switching operation may only be triggered by
the actuator specifically designed for this purpose.
Actuator and safety switch must be mounted such
that the front ends face each other with the
minimum switch-on distance 0.8 × S
with the protective device closed (see chapter
8.2.1 "Technical Data evaluation unit T4000
Compact"). A minimum distance of 3 mm must be
maintained in the case of lateral approach.
Actuator and safety switch must not be used as a
mechanical stop.
Attach an additional stop for the moving part of the
safety guard.
With flush installation, the switching distance will
change depending on the installation depth and
the material of the safety guard.
When the protective device is open, no hazard
must exist up to the distance S
