CAUTION!
Elastomer seals can swell.
Hydrocarbon-based grease and cleaning agents can cause elastomer seals to swell.

Do not treat elastomer seals with cleaning agents.

Only grease elastomer seals using silicone-based greases.
CAUTION!
The required maintenance intervals may have to be shortened dependent on the feed chem‐
icals used and operating conditions.

Maintenance work
Check the interior parts of the back pressure valve and replace if necessary,
especially the diaphragm and the piston seal.
To do this dismantle the back pressure valve, see "Repairs".
Replace the diaphragm.
