Start Up
A manometer must be installed in the discharge
line so that the adjustment pressure can be
precisely adjusted – see also "Installation
examples".
1. Pull off the protective cap (11).
2. Screw out the pressure adjustment
screw (13) (until it turns easily) to relieve
the pressure.
3. Open the shut-off devices in the dis‐
charge line.
4. Switch on the metering pump.
5. Set the required operating pressure by
screwing in pressure adjusting screw
(13) - read off the set pressure from the
manometer.
6. Secure pressure adjusting screw (13) by
tightening lock nut (14).
7. Check over a short interval whether the
adjusted operating pressure remains
constant and whether the threaded con‐
nectors of the system remain leak tight.
8. Replace the protective cap (11).
