4.3 Measurements, managing project folders and exporting data
4.3.1 Measurements
The tool saves measurements, photos of the measured
targets and any calculations that have been carried out.
Each result can be supplemented with annotations or a
photo.
With average camera settings and ordinary use, approxi-
mately 3000 results can be saved. The tool will notify you
if the memory capacity is full. Further results can only be
saved once space has been created in the project folders.
Each result is saved in a project folder. Results are
shown in chronological order, with the most recent result
at the top.

4.3.2 Display of measurements

Regardless of the unit of measurement selected in the 'Settings' menu, the measuring application shows
the calculated results as a numerical value to three decimal places.
Note
This value, shown to three decimal places, does not provide the real range in the case of either direct
or indirect measurements. Rather, this value represents as accurate a calculation as possible. In the
case of direct measurements, the result shown may deviate from the actual value by up to ±1 mm.
Results produced by indirect calculations do not achieve the same level of accuracy as results from
direct calculations.

4.3.3 Managing project folders

You can add and name projects. If no project folder has been set up, measurements are saved to a folder
labeled 'Default Project'.
If you delete the 'Default Project' folder, all of the results in this folder are deleted and the 'Default Project'
folder is recreated.
Project folders can be renamed or deleted. The last folder used is displayed when the tool is switched back on.
Measurements cannot be moved to different project folders.
▶ You should therefore ensure that the correct folder for the project has been either selected or created
before taking any measurements.
