3. Replenish with 30 grams (1 ounce) of fresh grease. Use
only Ingersoll-Rand genuine grease (optional accessory).

Filling with more than the specified amount of grease can
cause faulty hammering action or tool failure. Fill only
with the specific amount of grease. Do not lubricate tools
with flammable or volatile liquids such as kerosene or jet
fuel.

When the life of the tool has expired, it is recommended that the tool be disassembled, degreased and
parts be separated by material so that they can be recycled. Use only proper cleaning solvents to clean
parts. Use only cleaning solvents which meet current health and safety standards. Use solvents in a well-
ventilated area. Do not flush the tool or clean parts with gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel or similar fluid

4. Place the plate back onto the unit and reinstall the four
screws with washers.

To maintain product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs
and any other maintenance or adjustment should be perfor-
mance by an Authorized Service center, always using Inger-
soll-Rand replacement parts.
