TIPS FOR USING RECHARGABLE
BATTERIES:
Only the included rechargeable 1.2V
AAA batteries can be recharged within
the unit. Common alkaline batteries
and common rechargeable batteries
cannot be recharged by the unit. The
included batteries can be inserted and
connected to a wall outlet without
shorting the circuit or resulting in any
other damages. For replacement bat-
teries please see a specialty retailer.
ATTENTION:
Turn off the devices before you
replace empty batteries

Please make sure that the
indicated voltage of the devices
corresponds to the local power
supply voltage.

Power supply baby and parent unit

Both devices can be operated either with batteries or using the mains supply.
Choose a suitable type of operation.
Batterys
01. Opening the battery compartments' covers
Open the battery compartment on the rear side of the devices.

02. inserting the batteries
Insert the included batteries (Quantity: 3; Type AAA 1.2V) into the battery
compartment. Please always pay attention to the correct polarity according
to the polarity information + and – indicated in the battery compartment.
03. Closing the battery compartments' covers
After having inserted suitable batteries, slide the battery compartment cover back onto the battery
compartment until it clicks into place.
The included batteries can be recharged up to 500 times which is equivalent to 1.5 years of average use.
Note:
Each time you replace the batteries, please check the functioning of the devices afterwards. As soon as you switch
on the device, the battery control lamp should indicate a green light. In the case of weak batteries it will be red, in
order to remind you to either replace the batteries or to use the power adapter.
Use of the power adapters included in delivery
01. Connect the power adapters
Connect the power adapters included in delivery to the devices
power supply sockets.
02. Connect the power adapters to a power outlet
Connect the power adapters to a power outlet. (ATTENTION:
Choose a suitable power outlet for the baby unit which is situated
as far away from your child as possible. Please make
sure that the indicated voltage of the devices corresponds to
the local power supply voltage.)
