Operation with alkaline batteries (AAA):

01. Opening the battery compartment cover
Proceed as described in the case of „Operation with adapter" in item 01 and open the
cover of the battery compartment, fi g.1.
02. Inserting the batteries
Now, insert the alkaline batteries (3x 1.5V AAA) into the spaces provided for this purpose
in the the battery compartment taking the correct polarity into consideration, fi g.2.

03. Closing the battery compartment cover
Close the cover of the battery compartment (11) by sliding back into place and tighten
it by screwing it shut, fi g.3.
04. Ready for use
The parent unit is now ready for use, approx. 8 hours of operation are ensured with alkaline batteries. Please
remember this, when operating this device without the power supply unit!

Preparing the nursery unit

Operation with adapter:
Before supplying voltage to the nursery unit, screw the base (19) onto the nursery unit
in the screw hole (20), fi g.5.

Connecting the power supply unit
Connect the 6V power supply unit to the jack (18) using the jack plug. Connect the power
supply unit to the power supply system, fi g.6. The green LED control lamp (14) is now on
and the baby monitor is ready for use.

Pairing the nursery and parent unit

Before you can use these devices, they must be paired. This process ensures that your nursery and parent unit can com-
municate with each other and that no external signals are received. Please follow the further instructions:
01. Switching both units on
Switch the nursery unit on using the On/Off switch (17) and the parent unit with the On/
Off switch (2) to the ON position, fi g.7.

02. Activating the pairing of the parent unit
Press down on both selector buttons – (3) and + (7) simultaneously until the LED control
lamp (5) starts to fl icker. Now, let go of the buttons, fi g.8.
