3.1.3 Attaching the earmuffs (optional)

1. Dismantle the adapters attached to the helmet:
To do this, push the adapter clips off the shell of the helmet and
remove the adapters.
2. Move the earmuffs into the folded position.
3. Insert the adapter into the guide and press the shell of the helmet
until the clips snap into place in the shell.
4. Adjust the earmuffs so that they cover the user's ears.

Wait to close the visor until it is connected to the respiratory
protective device and breathable air is available.
1. Fold up the visor.
2. Put the helmet on.
3. Hold the face cuff by the tabs and pull it apart.
4. Pull the face cuff under the chin so that it tightly encloses the face.

Perform the following activities after use:

1. Take off the Dräger X-plore 8000 helmet with visor where the
ambient air is no longer contaminated.
2. Clean the Dräger X-plore 8000 helmet with visor (see section 4.1).

if the helmet fits in place optimally. The support ring must

be adjusted to the head circumference. Only wear the
helmet if it is completely assembled and ready for use
