Calibration may not be possible due to instrument and channel errors.
A potentially activated H
offsetting is automatically temporarily deactivated

during a manual calibration, a PC calibration or an automatic Bump Test for the
relevant duration.
Dräger recommends using the extended bump test for cross calibrations
(Dräger X-dock technical manual).
Carrying out the fresh air calibration
Calibrate the instrument to fresh air, free of measured gases or other interfering
gases. During the fresh air adjustment, the zero point of all sensors (with the
exception of the XXS O
and the CO
2
In the case of the XXS O
, the display is set to 20.9 vol. %.

The fresh-gas adjustment/zero-point adjustment is not supported by the CO
channel of the infrared sensor and the XXS O
sensors can be made with the Dräger CC Vision PC software. A suitable zero
gas free from carbon dioxide and ozone (e.g. N
Switch on instrument.
Press the [ + ] key three times to display the icon for fresh air calibration »
Press the [ OK ] key to start the fresh air calibration.

The measured values flash.
When the measured values have stabilized:
Press the [ OK ] key to perform the fresh air calibration.

The display containing the current gas concentration changes with the
display » OK «.
Press the [OK] key to exit the fresh air calibration function or wait for
approx. 5 seconds.
If a fault has occurred during the fresh air calibration:

The span calibration can be carried out selectively for individual sensors.

In the case of the span calibration, the sensitivity of the selected sensor is
set to the value of the test gas used.

Connect the test gas cylinder with the calibration cradle.
Vent the test gas into a fume cupboard or into the open air (with a hose
connected to the second connector of the calibration cradle).
Risk to health! Never inhale the test gas.
Observe the hazard warnings of the relevant Safety Data Sheets.
Switch on the instrument and insert it into the calibration cradle.
Press the [ + ] key and keep it pressed for 5 seconds to open the calibration
menu, enter the password (password on delivery = 001).
