MD SERIES DIESEL FUEL PUMP
1. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The equipment should only be used after having read and understood the instructions
provided in the following document.
• The equipment can be used by children over the age of 8 and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who lack experience and knowledge as long as
they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the
equipment safely and understand the potential hazards involved.
• Children must not be allowed to play with the equipment.
• The machine must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed.
• Cleaning and maintenance of the machine must only be carried out by adults and only
after the machine has been disconnected from the electrical power supply.
• The machine must be powered by an electrical power supply that is protected by a diffe-
rential current circuit breaker that
has a tripping current of less than 30 mA.
• If liquids hotter than 80°C are being pumped, be careful of the pump body as you could be
burnt if it comes into contact with
parts of the body. Place a high temperature warning sign and prohibit unauthorised access
to the pump area.
• Do not use the equipment if there are people swimming in the swimming pool or the body
of water.
• The manufacturer reserves the right to make any changes it considers appropriate to the
machines without prior notice.
2. DESCRIPTION
The assembly referred to in this manual consists of a pumping unit complete with an air-
cooled surface motor.
3. INTENDED USE
Electrical surface pumps have been designed for pumping clean water and group II liquids
(non-hazardous and non-chemically and mechanically aggressive liquids).
