Charging mode for 12.8 V lithium-iron-phosphate
batteries (4-cell LiFePO4). This mode is not available
if the battery voltage is outside the range 11.6-
13.8 V. This mode does not have any float charge
function.
Attention!
This mode is only suitable for 4-cell 12.8 V lithium-
iron-phosphate batteries (LiFePO4). Never use this
mode for lead-acid batteries - there is an explosion
and fire hazard.
Before charging, check the recommended
charging currents and voltage of the battery.
Lithium batteries need not necessarily have
a battery management system (BMS).
Manufacturers' specifications for voltage and
charging current must be complied with.

Attention!
If the charger is disconnected from the power
supply during charging (power lead unplugged)
and then plugged back in again, the device
automatically continues charging in the most
recently selected mode, without renewed pressing
of the mode button [8] being necessary.

Recovery charging mode is for the restoration of
old, unused, damaged, acid-coated or sulphated
batteries by use of high voltage pulses. Not all
batteries can be repaired. Perform the complete
charging cycle to achieve optimum results. Once
charging has successfully completed (battery fully
charged), the device automatically switches to float
charging.
Attention!
This mode is only suitable for 12 V lead-acid
batteries. With other battery types, this mode can
result in loss of water or overcharging.
