Attention!
Prior to first use, check that the mains voltage
and frequency of the charger (220-240 V
50 Hz) indicated on the type plate match the
corresponding data of the mains supply. Always
connect the clamps first, before connecting the
device to the power.
1. Before commencing charging, check that the bat-
tery voltage and battery type match the specified
information of the charger (see the next section:
Charging modes and first use).
2. Connect the red charging clamp (positive) to the
battery's positive terminal (+, P, Pos).
3. Fasten the black charging clamp (negative) to the
battery's negative terminal (-, N, Neg).
4. After the clamps are connected to the battery,
connect the mains cable to a suitable socket.

5. Once charging is complete, carry out the pro-
cess in the reverse sequence. First disconnect
the mains cable from the power, then the black
charging clamp (negative) and then the red
charging clamp (positive).
Charging modes and first use
The charger has eight charging modes. Only
operate the charger, once you have checked which
charging mode is suitable for your battery.
1. The device automatically switches to standby
mode when you connect the charger to the
mains. No charging by the charger occurs in
standby mode and the power supply to the bat-
tery is interrupted.
2. Pressing the mode button [8] switches to normal
mode. The charger checks the battery voltage
and automatically detects whether a 12 V or
24 V battery is connected. Charging starts au-
tomatically.
