Undertaking settings on the PC
Changing the menu language
The following menu languages are available, and
can be set, on the TORSIOTRONIC
German
English
Spanish
French
Italian
Proceed as follows to change the menu language
on the TORSIOTRONIC
Open the configuration menu, see page 29.
Select the "Language" menu item.
Select the desired language.
Confirm with OK.
Setting the time for automatic shut-off
A time after which the TORSIOTRONIC
off automatically when not in use can be set.
To set this time, the SENSOMASTER software
must be installed on a PC.
Connect the TORSIOTRONIC
Start the SENSOMASTER software installed on
the PC.
Switch on the TORSIOTRONIC
On initial connection to the PC, connection
establishment may take some time. (Driver
installation under WIN).
Select the "Settings" tab on the PC.
Select the "Parameters" tab.
Enter the desired time for automatic switching off
in the "Auto shut-off" area.
If 0 minutes is entered, automatic shut-off is
deactivated. The TORSIOTRONIC
switched off manually.

Click on the "Save data" symbol on the PC.
The settings are updated.

Setting password protection
Access to the configuration menu can be protected
by means of an administrator password.
The administrator password may only be assigned
or changed using the SENSOMASTER software.
No administrator password is set on delivery.
A maximum of four digits are available for the
administrator password. Only numbers may be
used.
Connect the TORSIOTRONIC
Start the SENSOMASTER software installed on
the PC.
Switch on the TORSIOTRONIC
Select the "Settings" tab on the PC.
Select the "Parameters" tab.
Mark the "Password activated" check box in the
"Password protection" area.
Set four numbers for the administrator password.
Click on the "Save data" symbol.
The settings are updated.
