Warning devices
The blower unit displays malfunctions with segments flashing
red or yellow on the control panel. The blower unit will also
trigger an acoustic and vibration alarm.
Depending on the thickness and material of the clothing,
the vibration alarm might not be perceived.
3.2.2 Filter and facepieces
Filter and facepieces are described in separate Instructions
for Use.
Half masks/full face masks and hood/helmet/protective visor
have different flow ranges. The blower unit automatically
detect the respiration connection type and automatically
selects the appropriate flow range.

The following breathing hoses are available:

Both breathing hoses are available for each of the following
facepiece types:
– Plug-in connector (for hoods, helmet/hood combinations,
bump cap/hood combination, helmets with visors)
– Bayonet-type connector (for helmets and protective
visors)
– Round-thread connector (for half masks and full face
masks)
CAUTION
Observe the device combination and protection class!
► If half masks are used, the flexible hose must be used to
achieve device classification TM2.
