4. Removing attachments: Remove
the attachment tool from the mounting
flange (19).
Fitting attachments: Place the at-
tachment tool on the mounting flange
(19).
The label on the cutting/grinding disc
should always face the tool. The run-
ning direction of the disc must match
the direction of rotation arrow (11)
.
Ensure that the attachment flange (19)
is placed on the tool in such a way that
the recesses in the attachment flange
grip into the edge of the tool. The up-
take spindle (20) must turn simultan-
eously when you turn the attachment
flange.
5. Place the clamping nut (18) on the up-
take spindle (20). The flat side of the
clamping nut must face the attachment
tool if the thickness of the disc recept-
or is < 5 mm. If the thickness of the disc
receptor is ≥ 5 mm, turn the clamping
nut (see Fig. A).
6. Press and hold the spindle lock (12).
7. Turn the uptake spindle (20) until the
stop button holds the uptake spindle in
a fixed position. Retighten the clamp-
ing nut (18) using the chuck key (17).
You can release the spindle lock (12).
Installing/changing the wire

• Thread length of the grinding
spindle: ≤ 12 mm
• Only use undamaged attachment tools.

Procedure (Fig. H/I)
1. Press and hold the spindle lock (12).
2. Turn the uptake spindle (20) until the
stop button holds the uptake spindle
in a fixed position. Keep pressing the
spindle lock (12).
3. Release the wire brush with an open-
end spanner. You can release the
spindle lock button (12).
4. Place the desired wire brush onto the
uptake spindle (20).
5. Press and hold the spindle lock (12).
6. Turn the wire brush onto the uptake
spindle (20). Tighten the wire brush us-
ing a combination wrench. You can re-
lease the spindle lock (12).

The guard cover must also be posi-
tioned such that the sparks cannot ig-
nite combustible parts, including those
in the surroundings.
• The attachment tool must not be used
with a cutting stand.
