Self Test
Self-test verifies proper instrument operation. See Keysight DAQ970A/DAQ973A Service Guide for details about the
self-test procedures.
Autocal
Autocalibration
Autocalibration compensates for internal drifts in the internal DMM or on DAQ970A/DAQ973A modules caused by
time and temperature change. This can help to eliminate the errors to achieve a better performance. For
DAQ970A/DAQ973A, autocalibration is performed on the internal DMM, on the DAC output and sense channels
(channels 04 through 07) on the DAQM907A multifunction module, and the DAQM909A Digitizer module.

Example of Total Duration Calculation
~15 seconds
Full autocalibration with 3 x DAQM909A in one mainframe:
Internal DMM + (3 x DAQM909A) = ~15 s + (3 x ~20 s) = ~ 75 s
~ 6 seconds
