CHECK THAT THERE IS WATER IN THE WATER TANK. OTHERWISE THE PUMP
WILL RUN DRY AND THE bOILER WILL NOT FILL WITH WATER. AS A RESULT,
THE TEMPERATURE IN THE bOILER WILL bECOME VERY HIGH AND THE
SAFETY THERMOSTAT WILL TRIP.
5. Once the coffee boiler is filled, it is advisable to wait for the boiler heating ele-
ment LED 6 (figure 2) before dispensing servings.
In stand-by conditions, the two dispensing buttons, manual and measured, will
be on steady. Dispensing is instead accompanied by the flashing of the corre-
sponding LED.
6. Dispensing in progress will be interrupted if the capsule door is opened. When
the door is open the dispensing functions are deactivated.
7. The insertion of a new capsule will cause the previously used capsule to be auto-
matically discharged into the used capsule container (capacity 14 capsules).
8. Depending on the cup being used, you can adjust the height of cup shelf 2
(figure 6). To do so, push outwards on button 14 of the up-and-down movement
located under the cup shelf. This adjustment measures 50 mm.
PROGRAMMING OF AUTOMATIC COFFEE DOSE
1. Turn the machine on and, without touching the keypad, wait for the LED's of the two dis-
pensing keys to come on. Within 10 seconds from when the two LED's come on, start the
following programming procedure.
2. Open the door. If the door is already open, leave it open.

ENERGY SAVINGS SETTING
While operating, it is possible for the machine to switch to energy savings mode.
To program the time-out before switching to the energy savings mode, after the last distribution
(pressing one of the two touch keys; automatic dose or manual dose), proceed as follows:
a. Open the door 7:

c. After the LEDs light up on the touch keypad, and within 10 seconds, press the two keys -
manual dose coffee 4 and automatic dose coffee 5 at the same time for at least 6 seconds.
d. At this point, the manual dose LEDs will turn on fixed 4.
e. Press the automatic dose key 5 once to set the time-out to 9 minutes; the three LEDs will
flash once together to indicate this selection;

Once the required time-out has been selected (9 min, 30 min or 60 min) wait 5 seconds to
exit programming automatically, the selected time-out will be set for the machine. If you
want to program a different value, repeat the procedure from the beginning.
If there is an accidental interruption in the power supply while programming, the value that was
previously set will remain set the next time the machine is turned on.
The machine is set with a factory default time-out parameter of 9 minutes.
