7.1 Preparing the Wallbox instal-
lation
DANGER
Danger during assembly and installation
If components are damaged during assembly
and installation, there is a risk of serious inju-
ries.
n
Stop any further work.
n
Notify technical service.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to electric shock
n
Protect each installed Wallbox with a resi-
dual current circuit breaker (min. FI type
A).
ATTENTION
Possible damage to ribbon cable
Carrying out work without due care can damage
the ribbon cable (see
figure
6).
n
Perform all assembly and installation acti-
vities carefully.
1.
Before starting the installation work, make
sure that all the prerequisites are met, see
Prerequisites.
2.
Clearly identify the Wallbox version from
the product number on the rating plate on
the outer cover.
In particularly, the model name and the
mains connection values specified below it
(mains voltage, current, frequency) are
relevant for identification, see
data.
3.
To install the Ethernet cable and the exter-
nal control cable, open up the prepared
opening in the housing and fit the cable
entry grommet (KEL-DP 20/4-1) from the
outside to the inside (1) to ensure leak
tightness. See
figure
17.
Because it ensures leak tightness, the
cable entry grommet is required even if no
Ethernet cable is used.
4.
Optional: Pull the Ethernet cable and exter-
nal control cable through the cable entry
grommet. See
figure
17.
5.
Optional: Connect the Ethernet cable, see
Connecting the Ethernet cable
6.
Optional: Connect the external control
cable, see
Connecting an external control
cable
