6.1 Assembly and installation loca-
tion
Note
When selecting the assembly and installation
location, also observe the general safety instruc-
tions for assembly and installation, see
information.
Load-bearing capacity of the wall
The Wallbox is intended exclusively for sta-
tionary use and therefore must always be moun-
ted on a wall. The wall must have a load-bearing
capacity of at least 40 kg.
Position
n
Mount the Wallbox at least 50 cm and a
maximum of 115 cm above the ground to
ensure accessibility.
n
Leave a minimum distance of 20 cm to the
Wallbox on all sides. See
figure
Electrical supply line
n
Observe the local energy provider's regu-
lations.
n
Make sure that a separate supply line is
available for installation of the Wallbox.
n
If necessary, install a separate supply line
that complies with the general standards
for cabling and building technology.
The electrical supply can be either flush-
mounted or surface-mounted as pre-
ferred.
n
The Wallbox requires an external residual
current circuit breaker (min. FI Type A).
On the device itself, there is an integrated
DC residual current operated protective
device (6 mA) complying with IEC 62955.
n
Protect the electrical supply line for the
Wallbox using a residual current circuit
breaker (FI Type A) in the installation.
n
The Wallbox is designed for connection
Safety
and operation on a mains voltage of 230 V
(1-phase) or 400 V (3-phase), 50/60 Hz.
n
Make sure that the rated voltage and cur-
rent of the Wallbox meet the standards for
the local power supply, so that the rated
current of the supply line is not exceeded
during charging, see
n
All requirements for construction of low
voltage systems set out in VDE 0100 or
the local regulations are applicable.
n
A circuit breaker corresponding to the buil-
ding's wiring and the Wallbox device
power (see rating plate and

data) must be fitted.
Further information
When selecting the installation location, also
consider the following:
n
The Wallbox is freely accessible for ope-
ration by authorised persons, see
mentation concept and target
Where possible, ensure that unauthorised
n
access is not possible.
n
Install the Wallbox where it can easily be
accessed by the vehicle.
Make sure that there is sufficient freedom
n
of movement for installation and for char-
ging.
Ensure that a good network connection]is

If necessary, provide sufficient cooling
and/or ventilation.
