1 Adapter module

1. Mount the bus coupler with 3 hexagonal socket-head screws M4 x 40 mm and
the washers on the left side of the adapter module.
Tightening torque: 1.6 Nm ± 0.2 Nm
2. Join the bus coupler with the adapter module to the valve system with B-de-
sign interface on a flat surface.
3. Screw the bus coupler and adapter module with 2 hexagonal socket-head
screws M5 x 14 mm to the corresponding valve system with B-design inter-
face, e.g. HF03-LG.
Tightening torque: 3 Nm + 0.5 Nm

1. Disassemble the current AV valve system according to the instructions.
2. Mount the adapter module with 2 hexagonal socket-head screws M4 x 25 mm
on the AV05 base plate.
Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm ± 0.2 Nm

1. Disassemble the current AV valve system according to the instructions.
2. Mount the adapter module with 1 hexagonal socket-head screw M4 x 35 mm
and 1 hexagonal socket-head screw M4 x 16 mm as well as 2 washers on the
AV03-AV05 transition plate.
Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm ± 0.2 Nm
Mounting to the B-design valve system
1. Join the adapter module to the valve system with B-design interface on a flat
surface.
2. Screw both devices with 2 hexagonal socket-head screws M5 x 14 mm to the
corresponding valve system with B-DESIGN interface, e.g. HF02-LG.
Tightening torque: 3 Nm + 0.5 Nm
3. Complete the AV valve system according to the instructions and configura-
tion, if necessary.
AV05 pilot exhaust
Connection R (G1/8") is used to exhaust the pilot air of the AV system.
WARNING! Never close the pilot exhaust of the AV system to avoid malfunction
of the product (accident prevention, material protection).
6.4.4 Assembling AES series 500
Notes
• With loads under movement in the event of incorrect assembly, damage to
the valve system or the electronics is possible. Always use an additional
mounting point (material protection).
