STACKING SECTIONS
NOTE: Refer to door section identification, located in the pre-installation section
of this manual or refer to Breakdown of Parts.
NOTICE
BEFORE STACKING SECTIONS, MAKE SURE GRADUATED END AND CENTER
HINGES ARE FLIPPED DOWN TO AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO YOUR DOOR,

WHEN STACKING ANOTHER SECTION ON TOP.
See Figure 24 and Figure 25 for the following steps.
10a. Install track rollers into graduated end hinges of remaining sections.
10b. With a helper, lift second section
vertical tracks . Lower section until it is seated against bottom section.

10c. Flip hinges up . Fasten center hinge(s)

last using 1/4" - 14 x 5/8" self-tapping screws
10d. Repeat same process for other sections, except top section.
IMPORTANT: Push & hold the hinge leafs securely against the sections while
securing with fasteners to it. There should be no gap between the hinge leaves
and the sections.
IMPORTANT: When placing the track rollers into the #2 graduated end hinges
and higher, the track roller goes into the hinge tube furthest away from the
section.

STACKING TOP SECTION
IMPORTANT: The dimension between the flag angles
plus 3-3/8" - 3-1/2" (86 mm - 89 mm).
See Figure 26 for the following steps.
11a. With a helper, place the top section
stacked.
11b. Install a nail to temporarily hold the top section.

11c. Flip up the hinge leaves, hold tight against section, and fasten center hinges
first and end hinges last (see Stacking Sections).
11d. Position flag angle

the edge of the door , then tighten the bottom lag screw. Flag angles

be parallel to the door sections. Repeat for other side.
11e. Complete the vertical track
tightening the other lag screws. Repeat for other side.
