Installation
For installation guidelines refer to POWER FOCUS manual (9836 3123 01).
The tool calibration torque is stored in non-volatile memory in the tool.
Any changes made to the tool calibration torque in the POWER FOCUS
will update the stored value in the tool.

Handling
Operating
As tightening torque increase the reaction force build up equally. Make sure
that the tool is in correct working order and that the controller is correctly pro-
grammed to avoid unexpected behaviour from the tool, which may result in op-
erator injury.
ETV/ETD: Check that the tool is in the correct running direction by turn-
ing the reverse ring,
• Clockwise = Tool forward.
• Anti clockwise = Tool reverse
ETP: Check that the tool is in the correct running direction by pushing the re-
vers switch.
The soft-start function facilitates entering the screw head and thread.
The duration of the soft start is adjustable, see the manual for the POWER FO-
CUS/ drive unit.
The tool is equipped with four LED´s for specific tasks:
• Connection LED: Indicates connection to Power Focus
• Battery LED: Indicates battery status (flashing light for low and fixed light
for empty battery)
• Batch LED: Indicated Batch done
• Alarm LED: A failure/event is detected
Preventing ESD problems
The components inside the tool and controller are sensitive to electrostatic dis-
charge. To avoid future malfunction, make sure that service and maintenance is
carried out in an ESD approved work environment. The figure below shows an
example of an appropriate service work station.
