Sausage, Spinach and Fontina Quiche
Makes one 9-inch deep-dish quiche, 8 to 12 servings

ounces sweet Italian sausage, casings removed

garlic cloves, finely chopped

cups packed baby spinach

teaspoon kosher salt, divided

teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, divided

cup whole milk

cup heavy cream

cup shredded fontina (about 3 ounces)
1 . Roll out the dough into a 10-inch disc about
an ungreased 9-inch deep-dish pie plate . Chill in refrigerator for
about 20 minutes .
2 . Preheat the Cuisinart

dough evenly all over, but make sure not to go entirely through the

rice and parchment and continue baking until the shell is golden
