Key Definitions
Bowl: The Stainless Steel Bowl is the foundation of the Pet Fountain.
Housing: Water is pumped up through the Housing to cycle through the Charcoal
Filter and out the spout to create a waterfall into the Bowl.
Housing Lid: The Housing Lid snaps in place over the Housing, keeping pets out of
the Charcoal Filter.
Charcoal Filter: The 3-layer filter is made with activated charcoal derived from
coconut shells. The Charcoal Filter absorbs bad tastes and odours as the water passes
through and helps keep the water tasting fresh and more appealing to pets.
Pump: The small aquarium Pump can be partially dismantled for cleaning. THE
PUMP IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE! Remove Pump from the Pet Fountain before
cleaning (see "Pump Maintenance" section for detailed instructions). The Pump also
features an In-Line Plug for easy attachment and removal.
Operating Instructions
• Do not use outdoors. Do not run dry. For indoor household use only.
• Do not pull on the electrical power cord to remove the Plug from
the electrical outlet.
• To unplug, grasp the plug, not the electrical power cord.
NOTE
Rinse all Pet Fountain parts with warm water before operating the Pet Fountain,
including the Pump. Refer to the "Pump Maintenance" section of this Operating Guide
for detailed instructions on how to properly clean your Pump. This will remove any
dust or residue that remain in the system from the manufacturing process.
1.
Carefully remove all the Pet Fountain components from the packaging and set
aside prior to assembly.
2. As with any electrical appliance, check the
electrical power cord for any tears or damage
before use.
3. Remove the Housing Lid by placing a finger
underneath the tabs on either side of the Lid
and lift up (Fig. 1).
4. Attach the Housing to the Bowl. Push Housing
down firmly until the locking tabs snaps
into place.
5. Rinse the Charcoal Filter thoroughly under cold water before placing in the
Pet Fountain. This will remove any loose charcoal dust, which is not harmful to
your pet.
