PET FOUNTAIN: Clean the Pet Fountain once a week.
1.
Unplug the Pet Fountain and disconnect the
In-Line Plug (Fig. 5).
2. Remove the Housing Lid and remove
the Charcoal Filter.
3. Empty the water out of the Pet Fountain.
4. Remove the Housing by pressing inwards
on the Housing clips located underneath the
Bowl until you feel them release. Lift straight
up on the Housing to remove. (Fig. 6).
5. Remove the cord's Rubber Grommet from the hole in the back rim of the
Bowl (Fig. 7).

6. Grab the Pump and lift straight up. Pull
the cord up through the opening until the
Pump is completely removed from the
Bowl (Fig. 8).

Once the Pet Fountain is completely
disassembled, you will have two plastic
parts (the Housing Lid and Housing), a
stainless steel Bowl, the Charcoal Filter
and the Pump.
8. Handwash the Pet Fountain plastic parts with warm water and soap. The Pet
Fountain may also be cleaned with a diluted vinegar solution (20% white vinegar
and 80% water). Important: Be sure to rinse thoroughly with fresh water. You
can also put the Pet Fountain in the top rack of the dishwasher. Remove the Pump
before placing the Pet Fountain in the dishwasher. DO NOT PLACE PUMP IN
DISHWASHER! If possible, it is recommended that you turn down the heat of
the water inside the dishwasher. See the "Pump Maintenance" section of this
Operating Guide for detailed instructions on how to properly clean your Pump.
9. If you have trouble reaching certain spots or hard-to-reach corners, try using a
cotton swab or purchase a Cleaning Kit. To purchase a Cleaning Kit, visit our
