Adjusting the throttle cable

The throttle cable play is factory set, although the user can also adjust it:
To access the throttle cable adjustment shaft, the seat will first have to be
removed (Seat Sect.).
- Remove the cap (1).
- Loosen the locking nut (2).
- Screw the threaded shaft in or out (3).
- Lock the position with the locknut (2).
WARNING
After adjustment, start the engine and turn the handlebar to both sides
to make sure there are no accelerations produced by the cable being
too tight.
WARNING
The throttle cable should NEVER be under tension when closed.
The throttle twist grip should have a free play of 2 to 3 mm.
