7 - MAINTENANCE
7.1.4 Mobile blade (16) replacement
The following operations shall be performed in the indicated order:
•
Unscrew the screws (12) to open the shear shell.
•
By using an allen key, tighten the blade pin (32) and remove the locking nut (30).
•
Unscrew the mobile blade pin (32) from the anvil blade.
•
Remove the mobile blade pin (32) from the teethed part (31).
•
Replace the blade (16). To re-assemble it, follow the above listed operations in reverse.
WARNING!
Before re-assembling the blade group, grease the mobile blade pin (32).
7.1.5 Shear cleaning
•
Every 8 hours of work, clean the blades with a cloth and the front part of the shear with compressed air. Do not use any
solvents.
7.1.6 Storing and battery maintenance
Before storing the tool for a period of time it is suggested to:
•
Perform a complete battery (2) re-charge cycle.
•
Every 90 days max. effect a complete battery (2) re-charge cycle.
•
During the storing period, do not leave the shear in the rain and keep it a dry place in its box.
WARNING!
If the batteries (2) are not re-charged every 90 days max., as duly indicated in par. 7.1.6, this will damage them irreparably.
WARNING!
Before re-assembling the shear shells, check that the printed circuit is in the correct position.
7.2 Extraordinary maintenance
7.2.1 General
Before any maintenance:
•
Turn the ON-OFF switch (8) in position 0 off.
•
Wear protective gloves.
WARNING!
Any extraordinary maintenance operation shall only be carried out by a Campagnola S.r.l. Authorized Assistance Point.

8
- DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL OF THE COMPONENTS
8.1 General
At the end of its working life, the tool shall be dismantled.
The tool components shall be divided in order to dispose of them according to the materials they are made of (batteries, metal,
plastic, etc.) and in compliance with the regulations in force in the country where the tool was used.
