Engine oil replacement

WARNING
Avoid draining the engine oil
immediately after stopping the
engine. The oil is hot and
should be handled with care to
avoid burns.
1. Place the machine on a level
surface and warm up the

engine for several minutes.

Then stop the engine.
2. Remove the screws 1, and
then pull outward on the areas

of rear cover 2 shown.
3. Remove the rubber cap 3,
the rubber plug 4 and the oil
filler cap 5.
4. Place an oil pan under the
engine. Remove the oil drain
bolt 6 and the gasket 7 so
that the oil can be completely

drained.
5. Check the oil drain bolt, the oil
filler cap and the O-ring 8.
Replace them if damaged.
6. Install a new gasket and the
oil drain bolt, and then tighten
the bolt.
Oil drain bolt tightening torque:
30 Nm
(3.0 m·kgf, 22 ft·lbf)

Renouvellement de l'huile
moteur
Evitez de vidanger l'huile immé-
diatement après avoir arrêté le
moteur. L'huile est brûlante et
doit être manipulée avec précau-
tions pour éviter les brûlures.
1. Placez la machine sur une sur-
face plane et faites chauffer le
moteur pendant
minutes. Arrêtez ensuite le
moteur.
2. Déposez les vis 1, et tirez
ensuite vers l'extérieur sur les
surfaces illustrées du couvercle
arrière 2.
3. Déposez le bouchon en caout-
chouc 3, la prise en caout-
chouc 4 et le bouchon de rem-
plissage d'huile 5.
4. Placez un conteneur à huile
sous le moteur. Retirez le bou-
lon de vidange d'huile 6 et le
joint d'étanchéité 7 de façon à
vidanger complètement l'huile.
5. Vérifiez le boulon de vidange
d'huile, le bouchon de remplis-
sage d'huile et le joint torique
8. Remplacez-les s'ils sont
endommagés.
6. Installez un nouveau joint et le
boulon de vidange d'huile, puis
serrez le boulon.
Couple de serrage du boulon de
vidange d'huile :
30 Nm
(3,0 m·kgf, 22 ft·lbf)
