Starting the engine

1. Turn the economy control
switch to "3" (OFF).

2. Turn the fuel cock knob to
"ON".

3. Turn the engine switch to "7"
(ON).

4. Turn the engine switch to "6"
(START).

Take your hand off the switch
immediately after the engine
starts.

NOTICE
If the engine fails to start,
release the switch, wait a few
seconds, then try again. Each
attempt should be as short as
possible to preserve the bat-
tery. Do not crank the engine
more than 5 seconds on any
one attempt.

Démarrage du moteur
1. Réglez le contacteur de ralenti
économique sur « 3 » (OFF).

2. Tournez le bouton du robinet à
carburant sur « ON ».

3. Tournez le contacteur
moteur sur « 7 » (ON).

4. Tournez le contacteur
moteur sur « 6 » (START).
Retirez la main du contacteur
immédiatement après que le
moteur a démarré.

Si le moteur ne démarre pas,
relâchez le contacteur, attendez
quelques secondes, et réessayez
ensuite. Chaque tentative doit
être aussi courte que possible
afin de préserver la batterie. Ne
lancez pas le moteur pendant
plus de 5 secondes lors de chaque
tentative.
