Muffler screen and spark
arrester
WARNING
The engine and the muffler will
be very hot after the engine has

been run.
Avoid touching the engine and
the muffler while they are still
hot with any part of your body
or clothing during inspection or
repair.
1. Remove the screws 1, and
then pull outward on the areas
of rear cover 2 shown.

2. Loosen the bolt 1 and then
remove the muffler cap 2 and

the muffler screen 3.

3. Remove the spark arrester 1.
TIP
Use a flathead screw driver to pry
the spark arrester out from the
muffler.

Grille du silencieux et pare-
étincelles
Le moteur et le silencieux sont
brûlants après que le moteur a
tourné. Ne touchez pas le moteur
ni le silencieux avec une partie de
votre corps ou de vos vêtements
s'ils sont encore brûlants lors des
travaux d'inspection ou de répa-
ration.
1. Déposez les vis 1, et tirez
ensuite vers l'extérieur sur les
surfaces illustrées du couvercle
arrière 2.
2. Desserrez le boulon 1 puis
déposez ensuite le bouchon du
silencieux 2 et la grille du
silencieux 3.
3. Déposez le pare-étincelles 1.
N.B.
Utilisez un tournevis à lame plate
pour écarter le pare-étincelles du
silencieux.
