AIR FILTER CLEANING / REPLACEMENT
For the purpose of the protection from dust intrusion and maintaining the projector performance, the air filter is equipped on
the intake vent of this projector.
Detailed information about this is mentioned in "5-3. Cleaning and Replacing the Air filters" on the User's Manual. Make sure
to read this before cleaning and/or replacing the air filters.

1. Cleaning the air filters

• Please be remind to clean the air filters when the filter usage time reaches 2,000 hours.
It may be required to clean the air filters in shorter time depending on the circumstances for use the projector.
NOTE
In order to maintain the projector performance, frequent cleaning is strongly recommended.
• When the air filter usage time reaches 2,000 hours, the message "FilterCleaning Time" is indicated on the
display.
• Pay enough attention not to damage the air filters by cleaning. If you find any damage as a hole on the air
filter, replace it with new one.
- Please refer the User's Manual for the removal/installation procedures.
- Make sure to remove dust by the suction brush installed vacuum cleaner. Be careful, the air filter may be damaged by
strong suction.
- The air filter has front and rear faces. Clean the front face. Pay attention to check the "AIR FLOW" direction that is indicated
by the arrow pointed direction and is printed on side face of the air filter.
- Do not spray cleaning solvent and detergent to the air filters.
- Do not wash the air filter.
• After cleaning the air filters, select "Configuration" → "Reset" → "FilterCleaning" in the adjustment menu.
The filter cleaning message will be turned off.
