5.3.3
WIFI Menu
In order to successfully conclude from the emitter the described processes of Registration and
Wifi Network Linking, the emitter's Wifi menu must be accessed, which is the first option within the
Modes menu.
Once the emitter is Operational, in all operating modes except Manual, the
Modes menu is displayed by touching the Mode key once. If you are in Manual
mode, touch the Mode key twice to access this menu.
In this Modes menu, the desired mode is selected with the p and q keys; To
select and enter the Wifi menu, touch the p key until you reach this first option,
the Wifi menu, and touch the OK key.
The Wifi menu offers the necessary information and the possibility of managing the connection to
the linked Wifi network of the COSMOS emitter.
There are 4 / 5 menus within the Wifi menu, depending on whether the emitter has a linked Wifi
network or not (see page 80 of this manual), which can be selected by means of the q and p
keys, and by touching the OK key when the desired menu is highlighted.
From the Wifi menu, the Mode key can be touched to return to the last operating mode. If no key
is touched for 30 seconds, the emitter will also return to the last operating mode.
5.3.3.1 Wifi Emitter Name
At the bottom of the TFT screen of the Wifi menu, the Name
assigned to the COSMOS emitter registered through the
COINTRA ELECTRIC Application will be displayed, once it has
been linked to a Wifi network; this name can be modified at any
time from the Application.
If having a Wifi network linked and connected, no Name ap-
pears in the Wifi menu, it means that the emitter is not regis-
tered with any user in the Application.
Note: can by unlinked from the Wifi network at any time and be linked to it again or to another
network (see next page); in any of these cases, the Emitter Name would continue to be displayed,
as it is still registered in the Application.
5.3.3.2 Wifi Emitter Code
The Emitter Code is the identifier that is necessary to register the device in the Application, there-
fore this RAD. CODE menu is the first one that appears in the Wifi menu.
By touching the OK key, an information screen will appear displaying the emitter
code in two ways:
•
A QR appears representing the code. From the Application the mobile de-
vice's camera can be selected to scan it.
•
15-Character alphanumeric code that identifies the device. It must be cop-
ied in the indicated field of the Registration Form in the Application.
From this "RAD. CODE" screen, if the OK or Mode key is touched, the emitter will automatically
return to the Wifi menu. If no key is touched for 2 minutes, the emitter will return to the last oper-
ating mode.
