If any key is touched when the emitter is in Standby mode, there will be a short
beep and the standby screen will appear. The emitter can be locked from Stand-
by (see page 95 of this manual).
If there is a power failure or the emitter is disconnected, it will always remember
the last operating mode, the temperature and the status (Standby / Opera-
tional and locked / unlocked).
The day and time will be saved when it is disconnected from the power supply for up to 10 years,
depending on the button cell battery life (replacement cell CR2032).
When the button cell is depleted, the day and time must be entered again according to page 91
of this manual.
Although having the button cell depleted, if the COSMOS emitter is linked to a Wifi Network
and communicates with it (for example, router turned on and online), the day and time of the
emitter will always be automatically online updated, based on the emitter's configured time
zone.
IMPORTANT: To guarantee your safety, we recommend you contact an authorised electrician to
replace the button cell.
Daily and weekly programs, as well as the linked Wifi network information, are never lost,
even when disconnected from power for long periods.
5.3 LINKING THE EMITTER TO THE WIFI NETWORK
The COSMOS emitter offers the option to control it remotely. To enjoy the advantages that this
functionality offers, you need to download the COINTRA ELECTRIC Application that enables it
to be controlled in our mobile devices.
Through the Application, the COSMOS emitter can be linked to the Wifi network with which we
want it to work, in order to obtain full access to its remote control.
Attached is the QR code for scanning that allows you to directly access the download point of the
COINTRA ELECTRIC Application, available to install on Android and iOS:
If desired, it can also be searched on the platforms by entering "COINTRA ELECTRIC".
Once the Application has been downloaded and installed, the Emitter Registration and its Wifi
Network Linking process can be carried out.
