Install in sequence the distance piece (44) and snap ring (43).

Using an appropriate driver, install inner rings of bearings (36) and
(50) to shaft (49).
NOTE. Check direction of installation carefully.

CHECKING AXIAL CLEARANCE
Introduce only part of the intermediate shaft bearing (36) in the
reduction gear body (52); centre the cover (34) on the bearing and
fasten (provisionally and without shims) with the relative screws,
tightening to a torque of 50 Nm.

Install the needle cage (42), gear (41) and distance piece (40).

Install the distance piece (39) and snap ring (38).

Overturn the reduction gear body (52) and insert the complete
intermediate shaft (22); using a rectified bar "A" and a depth
gauge, measure distance "X" between inner ring of bearing (50)
and surface of reduction gear body (52).
e.g.: X = 85,2 mm
