3.5 Transducer Installation
Transducer Identification
The transducer part number located on the front face provides a detailed identification. For
example, the Part Number: 1011GCHNFS-D1T1-S2 means:

Note
Transducer model names for Version 3 operating systems are as follows: 1011HG Hi Prec.
and 1011G Universal.
Transducer Installation
1. At the [Chan/Path Setup] menu, trigger the<Down Arrow> to select [Pick/install Xdcr].
2. Trigger <Right Arrow> then <Down Arrow> to [Transducer Model].
3. Trigger <Right Arrow> sensor.
4. Trigger <Down Arrow>and scroll to [1011HG Hi Precision]. Trigger <ENTER> to select.
5. Trigger <Down Arrow> to select [Transducer Size].
6. Trigger <Right Arrow> sensor.
7. Trigger <Down Arrow> and scroll to [D1H]. Trigger <ENTER> to select.
8. IMPORTANT: Record Number Index and Spacing Method. Trigger <Down Arrow> as
9. Install CC129 Pipe Damping Film on pipe.
10. Transducers can now be mounted.
Note
Refer to installation instructions included with supplied Pipe Damping Kit. To determine
the required number of layers, refer to the table below.
