Functional Description
Harmful fumes are produced during the welding process. A permanent filter located in the filter housing
removes the welding fume particles from the sucked air. The cleaned air is led back into the work area via
the exhaust box (12).
If the minimum volume flow is not reached, the manometer (10) indicates a high value and an acoustic
signal sounds. Then the filter must be cleaned with compressed air. During the dedusting procedure, the
exhaust fume deposits are removed from the filter elements and the filter is refreshed.
The separated dust is collected in a dust collecting drawer (8).
NOTICE
• The dust collecting drawer (8) must be emptied before and after each dedusting of the filter.
• After each use, the dust collecting drawer must be checked.
• In case of a filling level of 2/3 or more, the dust collecting drawer must be emptied according to the

automatically the fume extraction system by fixing it to the cable assembly of the welding device.
