Maintenance intervals
Service life of carbon brushes
The carbon brushes have a service life of approx. 800 hours. The service life is reduced by 30% each time a carbon brush
is replaced. The carbon brushes can be replaced twice in total. After two replacements, the motor must then be replaced.
9.2 Filter dedusting
CAUTION
• Suitable safety measures must be taken before performing maintenance and cleaning work.
• Maintenance and cleaning work must only be carried out on the extraction system in areas with locally filtered forced
ventilation.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Personal protective equipment consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
• Nobody without personal protective equipment may stay near the dust collecting drawer when it is being filled with
the separated dust.
• The filter should be cleaned at least once per work shift, depending on how often the system is used.
• The filter must be cleaned immediately if the "Dirty" LED is illuminated on the control panel.
NOTICE
• This procedure must be carried out when the system is not in operation.
• Use only dry and oil-free compressed air (max. 5 bar - max. 6.5 bar).
