14. TROUBLE SHOOTING.

PROBLEM
Not enough power to cut of bend
The bending plate doesn´t return to its original
position after the bend is complete
Not enough or un current reaching the machine,
the pilot light doesn´t come on
The pilot light is on but the machine doesn´t work
230v or 400v connection. The connection is
correct but the machine doesn´t have enough
power.
The machine loses oil through the gear box
When bend is finished the plate doesn´t stop at
the original position
The bending plate doesn't stop immediately when
the pedal is released
Strange noise from within the gearbox
Strange noise from the motor
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Loose or damaged belts
Damaged blades
Motor not receiving correct current
Defective inductive sensor
Lack of current reaching the electrical junction
box
MAIN ELECTRICITY DOWN
FUSE HAS BLOWN ON THE JUNCTION BOX
CABLE IN BAD STATE
The machine isn´t correctly connected
EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON IS DEPRESSED
SECURITY FEATURES ARE ACTIVATED
Unstable electricity supply
Rubber washer deteriorated.
Defective inductive sensor
The motor brake has worn
THE MOTOR BRAKE IS NOT OPERATIONAL
Deterioration of some of the internal components
Misfunction of one of its components

SOLUTION
Tighten or replace belts
Replace blades or change cutting side
Check engine for technical service
Check the sensor (1 open, 0 closed). Replace if
damaged
Check site junction box to make sure electricity is
being produced
CHECK THE CURRENT FROM THE MAINS
REARM THE FUSE
REPLACE THE CABLES
Check that all phases are complete. Check the
fuse in the machines electrical box
RELEASE EMERGENCY STOP
MAKE SURE ALL DOORS, EMERGENCY STOP
BUTTONS AND PLASTIC TABLE TOP GUARD ARE
IN CORRECT POSITION
Check the electricity supply if the voltage is
inferior to 230v or 400v the machine won´t work.
A tension stabiliser is recommended
Replace rubber washer
Check the sensor (1 open, 0 closed). Replace if
damaged
Check the motor brake and tighten the springs
leaving a uniform gap between the disc and the
plate of .3 to .4mm.
REPLACE THE MOTOR BRAKE
Dismantle the gearbox and check bearings and
grooves. Replaced damaged elements
Find out the source of the noise and repair
