SETTING OF HEATING PERIOD (CH)
NOTE: In the case of the (l5) installation, the heating programming is
carried out independently for each zone operating on the relevant
QAA 70 room unit only if the automatic operating mode has been
selected on the controller.

Selection of day of the week
This function allows to select the day or the entire week, for which
you intend to program the heating hours.
a) Push the line selection buttons to select line 5.
b) Push the + / – buttons to select the entire week or the single day.
1—7 = selection of the entire week.
1...7 = number of the selected day.
– This setting must be made before inserting the periods of time.
– For each day, to which different switching hours apply, you must
repeat the selection of the single day, and then insert the periods
of time. We suggest you select the week in the first place (1–7)
and insert the switching time applying to the majority of the days;
after that, select the single days (1...7), to make the necessary
settings.
6
Switching time (periods of time)
of the timer program
This is the setting of the switching time for the timer program, when
the prescribed values for the heating circuit temperature change.
a) Push the line selection buttons to select lines 6–11.
b) Push the + / – buttons to set the switching time on each line.
First of all you must select the day of the week (line 5), for which the
switching time must be inserted!
At the set time, the program will switch onto the corresponding pre-
scribed temperature values. The table hereunder shows at what
time the prescribed values will be activated.

Room temperature setpoint (comfort) value
This parameter displays the setpoint value for room temperature.
The regulator causes an adjustment of the delivery temperature
according to the external temperature.
Should the comfort room temperature not be reached, you can oper-
ate in two ways:
1 you can increase the setpoint value
using the regulator knob
2 you can increase the heating curve
slope (parameter).

Reduced setpoint of room temperature
14
This function allows setting of lower room temperature when nee-
ded, for instance at night, thus saving energy. The heating system
has three different setpoint values that can be set up:
– The reduced room temperature setup, described hereunder
– The room temperature setup (set using the knob)
– The anti-freeze room temperature setup (setting on line 15).
a) Push the line selection buttons to select line 14
b) Push the + /– buttons to adjust the reduced room temperature
setup.

Anti-freeze room temperature setpoint
This function prevents room temperature from sinking under the set
anti-freeze value.
a) Push the line selection button to select line 15.
b) Push the + / - buttons to adjust the anti-freeze room temperatu-
re setup.

Summer/Winter switching temperature
The Summer/Winter switching temperature is the criterion for
the automatic Summer/Winter switching of the heating system.
a) Push the line selection button to select line 16.
b) Push the + /– buttons to select the Summer/Winter swit-
ching temperature.

The attenuated external temperature (Taged) is calculated at 10-
minute intervals according to the actual external temperature (Takt)
and it has a direct effect on the Summer/Winter switching.
