Fill internal cylinder

Before filling, refer to section 4.2 "Filling the
internal refrigerant cylinder".
Program sequence for topping up
!
Only ever fill the refrigerant cylinder to a
maximum of 70% (approx. 6.5 kg).
The subsequent program sequence is descri-
bed using the following example values:

Filling weight of internal refrigerant cylin-
der: e.g. 2760 g.

Filling weight for topping up: 3300 g.

Filling weight of internal refrigerant cylin-
der after topping up: 6460 g = 2760 g +
3300 g + 400 g (residual quantity in hose
lines).

If refrigerant escapes, there is a risk of frost-
bite to the hands and body.

Wear protective goggles.

Wear protective gloves.
1. In the main menu, select the "Fill internal
cylinder" option and follow the instruc-
tions in the program.
2.
Connect the red quick release coupling
(Fig. 1; 8) on the ACS 500 to the connec-
ting adapter on the external refrigerant
cylinder.
3.
Open the shutoff valve on the red quick
release coupling (turn clockwise).
4.
Open shutoff valve on external refrigerant
cylinder.

The current internal pressure of the
external refrigerant cylinder is displa-
yed on the high pressure manometer
(HP).
5. Open the high pressure valve (HP) on the
ACS 500.
6. Press the V key.

The maximum weight for filling is dis-
played.
7. When the maximum weight is displayed,
enter the filling weight as shown in the
example (3300 g).
8. Press the V key.

Filling of the internal refrigerant cy-
linder begins. Follow the instructions
in the program.
"
After filling, the "Resources" option in the
main menu shows the current weight of
the internal refrigerant cylinder.
