The double time zone watch enables two different times to be
displayed simultaneously. The watch has two central hour hands:
one hand showing the local time (1) and one hand showing the
reference time (user's domicile) (5).
When the double time zone function is not in use, the two hour hands
(1 and 5) can be superimposed; they then move simultaneously.
The reference time of the watch is the time at the place of domicile,
i.e. the time at the usual place of residence.
NOTE: Begin by setting the time at the place of domicile in position
D and then set local time in position C.

Setting instructions

The winding and time-setting crown (I) can be placed in four
positions A, B, C and D.
A: Screwed down against the case.
This is the normal position when worn which guarantees water-
resistance.
B: Released, winding position.
If the watch has not been worn for some time, wind it by turning
the winding and time-setting crown (I) through several rotations.
There is no need to wind a watch fully if it is to be worn. The winding
and time-setting crown (I) is not locked when fully wound; there is
therefore no risk of damaging the mechanism.

Winding and initial setting of the watch
(at the place of domicile):
Pre-setting phases:
Release the winding and time-setting crown (I) and then pull it
out to position C. Move the two hour hands (1 and 5) until they are
superimposed. Make sure that the AM/PM hand (6) is correctly set
to the time zone at the place of domicile.
When the date (4) changes, make sure that the AM/PM hand (6)
moves from PM to AM.
D: Reference time-setting position.
This is the time at the place of domicile, i.e. the time at the place of
residence.
When pulled out to this position, the winding and time-setting
crown (I) can be turned to enable the local time (1), the reference
time (5) and the minutes (2) to be set.
Make sure that the reference time hand (5) is positioned on the
desired time before pushing the winding and time-setting crown
(I) back down to position B. Then screw it down against the case in
position A to ensure water-resistance of the watch.
