Setting instructions
Winding and time setting:
The winding and time-setting crown (I) can be placed in two
positions, A and B.
A: Pushed down against the case, winding position.
This is the normal position when the watch is worn and guarantees
the best possible water-resistance.
The watch must be wound every day, if possible at roughly the same
time. Do not force the winding mechanism when you feel resistance
is increasing.
B: Time-setting position.
When pulled out to this position, a clockwise rotation of the winding
and time-setting crown (I) enables the time to be adjusted. Turn the
winding and time-setting crown (I) to set the hands to the desired
time. Then push the winding and time-setting crown (I) back to
position A.
NOTE: If the time is being set in the afternoon, the hour hand (1)
must have completed more than one full revolution since the last
day of the week and date (aperture 4 and hand 5) to ensure that the
date changes at midnight.

Rapid adjustment of the triple calendar:
If your watch has been stopped for a few days only, it is easier to pull
the winding and time-setting crown (I) to position B and advance
the hands by the time elapsed since the watch stopped. This method
conserves the synchronisation of the different displays.
Complete adjustment of the triple calendar:
If the watch has been stopped for longer, you will have to adjust all
indications one by one. Begin by setting the date to yesterday's date.
IMPORTANT: Do not adjust the day of the week, date or month
(aperture 4, hand 5 and aperture 6) by pressing the correctors (II, III
and IV) between 7pm and 2am.
Correcting the day of the week (4):
Correct the day of the week by pressing the day corrector (II)
using the corrector pen (V) supplied with the watch. Each time the
corrector (II) is pressed the date advances by one day. Set the day in
the day of the week aperture (4) to yesterday.
Correcting the month (6):
IMPORTANT: For mechanical reasons, do not adjust the month by
pressing the month corrector (IV) if the date hand (5) is between 28
and 31. If the month must be adjusted, the date hand must first be
advanced to a day between 1 and 27.
However there is no risk of damaging the mechanism if the month is
changed between 28 and 31.
Correct the month by pressing the corrector (IV) using the corrector
pen (V) supplied with the watch. Each time the corrector (IV) is
pressed the display advances by one month. If the adjustment
is being made on the first day of the month, display the previous
month in the aperture (6).
