Setting the watch while travelling:
C: Position to set the second time zone (local time).
When travelling, to set the local time, release the winding and time-
setting crown (I) and pull it out to position C; then rotate the crown.
Depending on the direction of rotation, the local time hand (1) is
either advanced or moved back in increments of 1 hour and the date
changes if midnight is passed.
NOTE: Watch the date (4) jump carefully and make sure that it is the
correct AM/PM time zone (6) for the reference time (5).
The reference time hand (5) and the AM/PM hand (6) are not
influenced and remain synchronised on the time at the place of
domicile. Then push the winding and time-setting crown (I) back
to position B before screwing it down against the case in position A
ensure the water-resistance of the watch.
Setting the date (4):
The date displayed on the watch is indexed on local time.
IMPORTANT: Working of the date corrector (II) may be temporarily
inhibited between 10.30pm and 1.30am. It is therefore preferable not
to adjust the date during this time period.
The date is corrected by pressing the date corrector (II) after
releasing the date corrector screw-lock ring (III). Each time the
corrector is pressed, the date (4) is advanced by one day. When the
correction has been completed, screw the date corrector ring (III)
back down again.
NOTE: The watch does not account for the number of days in the
month. Months with less than 31 days will therefore have to be
compensated manually using the date corrector (II).
