Sharpening the tungsten electrode
To sharpen the tungsten electrode, use a sharpening device with a diamond
wheel. In doing so, observe the following:
• The point is sharpened longitudinally through the centre axis.
• Automatic regulation of the tungsten electrode drive by gravity.
• Can be set for all electrode diameters.
• Continuous adjustment of the angle.
We recommend basic cleaning once a week. The type and frequency of
cleaning shall be determined and established by the system operator of the
welding system.

• Some problems are listed below, with descriptions of possible causes and
solutions. If the measures described below are not successful, please
consult your dealer or the manufacturer.
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding
components, such as power supply, re-circulating cooling device.
