System description
The Plasma Prof 180/300 HQC (Item No 968/969) complete with ignition unit HV19-1 (Item No 464) or HV19 / PVC
Robot (Item No 462) or HV19 / PVC CNC (Item No 459), manual gas console PGC-D (Item No 480) or automatic
APGC gas console (Item No 466), PVC valve console (Item No 469) and torch CP455G (various items depending on
the application), is a mechanised multigas plasma cutting system fully managed by microprocessor able to deliver a
maximum current of 180 A/300 A at a duty cycle of 100%.All the process parameters (material, gas, thickness and
current) can be selected from the gas console. Depending on the selections made, the best gas flows are indicated.
The machine software can be updated through a RS232 port or a USB port, both located on the power source rear
panel.
The system uses several gases for optimal cutting of any metal, namely: air, nitrogen N2, oxygen O2. Combinations of
these gases are offered automatically depending on the material chosen.
The mixtures used with optional gas console Item No 487 are H35 (35% hydrogen H2 – 65% argon Ar) and F5 (5%
hydrogen H2 – 95% nitrogen N2); the mixture used with the water console (Item No 485) is nitrogen N2 and water H2O.
Marking can be carried out with argon gas Ar, which is also offered automatically.
Different consumable sets are available depending on the cutting current and the gas used. These are calibrated and
tested to obtain maximum cutting quality.

If X=100%, its value coincides with I1max.
Degree of housing protection.
Grade 2 as the first figure indicates that this device is protected against
solid foreign bodies with a diameter greater than 12.5 mm.
Grade 1 as the second figure indicates that this device is protected
against vertically falling water drops.
S as an additional letter indicates that this device is tested for damaging
effects due to water ingress when its mobile parts are at a standstill.
