Standard Equipment
Induction trolleys are made of high-quality stainless steel, are double-walled and seamlessly welded. The
appliances have 2 swivel casters with total locks and 2 fixed casters. You can swing the hinged doors to an
angle of 260 ° and can securely close them with a spring-supported 2-point locking. The inserted door seal
is arranged in a protective way and you can easily take it out without tools.
With the vertical bars in the corners of the trolley it is possible to manoeuvre the device ergonomically when
the doors are closed or opened. The lower peripheral frame made of shock-resistant plastic offers an opti-
mal bumper and on the right and left sides it is disconnected in the mid for the optional installation of the
coupling and drawbar.
In the standard version the induction trolleys are equipped with two vertical rows of spool carriers with re-
spectively two induction coils. The spool carriers are installed with a vertical contact spacing. The spool
carriers are made of a composite material based on plastics, which completely surrounds the induction
coils and is nutritionally harmless. The sideways holders of the spool carriers are designed as tray guiding
rails and are equipped with a protective device that prevents the tilting of the tray when it is pulled forward.
The induction coils in the spool carriers are stimulated by a microprocessor-controlled generator to gener-
ate high-frequency magnetic alternating fields. These magnetic fields induce eddy currents in the metal
coating of the special crockery, which lead to very fast heating of the crockery items and inserted meals.
The precise control of the power supply ensures an even and gentle heating of the inserted meals.
In the standard design the programming can be carried out directly on the device via the control panel. The
control panel is easy to be accessed on the front side and fitted at eye level.
The query of data is possible at any time if the device is connected to the network. The documentation of
the programming steps is stored internally and is accessible at any time. The programming can be adjusted
individually. If the device is set correctly, the regeneration process can be started either with the start-up
function at a specified time or by the manual operation of the power switch.

Equipment and Optional Accessories
You can install and fit the induction trolleys with optional accessories in various ways.
§
Induction coils:
Two to four induction coils per spool carrier for a corresponding number of hot components or for
two trays with a wide slot.
§
Split:
In this version, the generator and control are outsourced and assembled as a module on the on-site
wall. For this operation, the induction trolley is connected via a special connection to the external
generator.
§
Gallery:
With the gallery, the roof of the trolley can be used as an additional and secure storage surface. The
top of the trolley may be loaded with up to 55 lbs (25 kg).
§
Central total brake:
The optional central total brake provides a firm hold during operation and standby mode. One single
foot control locks the swivel casters of the induction trolley.
§
Casters that can only roll in one direction (Rifix):
Casters fitted with Rifix can be fixed to roll in one direction only. This significantly facilitates the di-
rectional stability, e.g., during traction operation.
§
Coupling and drawbar:
For the connection of several induction trolleys for traction operation. The simple version is also
available in combination with casters that are movable in only one direction. The second option with
friction damping enables the directional stability during traction operation even in tight bends.
§
Cooling:
The optional passive or active cooling enables a constant temperature level for several hours. Venti-
lation segments ensure an optimal distribution of cold air and are easily removable for cleaning.
Cooling elements are available for active cooling with 700 W chilling capacity.
Devices with passive cooling can be equipped with up to 3 cold storage plates.
§
External programming:
A solution for standard PCs with the Windows operating system is available as a special accessory.
The package contains a Menu Manager software, the i-button (a portable data storage in the form of a
key fob) and a PC interface for writing and reading of the i-button. One interface for writing and reading
of the i-button is available next to the keypad on each induction trolley in the standard version.
