Weld the boss in place before installing the sensor. When installed in the vehicle, the MAF sensor should be mounted with the connector end
pointing between horizontal and fully upright - do not mount with the connector oriented downward.

Air Cleaner
It is recommended that the dry element air cleaner provided with the kit be used. Chevrolet Performance Universal air inlet kit,
P/N 19301246 is available for use and meets all of the above requirements.
NOTE: Fueling and emissions compliance cannot be guaranteed if an oiled element type air filter element is used.
Fuel Line Pressure Sensor
This sensor is necessary for operation of the Fuel Pump Power Module. The fuel line Pressure Sensor should be installed
engine as practical in the fuel feed line. This will help dampen any fuel pressure spikes from the engine
mounted high pressure fuel pump. Do not use an impact drive to install the sensor. Torque to 15 NM +/- 5 NM. The sensor must be mounted on an
M10x1.0 port with an o'ring seal capable of sealing fuel. The Fuel Line Pressure Sensor must be mounted as shown:
