10. TROUBLESHOOTING
When the engine will not start:
1. Is there enough fuel?
2. Is the fuel valve on?
3. Is gasoline reaching the carburetor?
To check, loosen the drain knob with the fuel valve on. Fuel should flow out
freely. Retighten drain knob.
If any fuel is spilled, make sure the area is dry before testing the spark plug
or starting the engine. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite.

4. Is the engine switch on?
5. Is the spark plug in good condition?
Remove and inspect the spark plug. Clean, readjust gap and dry the spark
plug. Replace it if necessary.
6. If the engine still does not start, take the tiller to your servicing dealer.
